Terms & Conditions

The contract for the Silver plan is for a fixed term of 12 months and Gold plan is for a fixed term of 24 months. If you cancel the service prior to the completion of the contract period, an early disconnection fee of $149 and $199 will be applied respectively
Landline service must be applied to WorldNet Services
Free Initial Broadband Setup covers the Broadband standard connection (worth $102.17)
It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any termination fees to their existing broadband provider
A wiring² charge ($185+GST) or additional hardware charge(s) might be applied
Modem for $401.41+GST should be purchased.
All hardware are covered by standard 1 year RTB warranty from the date of purchase
Delivery and packing charge applies if you have chosen to send the hardware by courier
We cannot process your delivery order until we receive your initial payment in full. Payment by any type of bank transfer will not be considered payment until the payment has been fully paid into our bank account.
Payment is to be made in cash, by EFTPOS or Credit Card if you are collecting the hardware

Things you need to know:

1. Broadband speed - Full Speed or "FS" means the maximum speed that the DSLAM can support on the End User's line downstream. "10" means a maximum line speed of 10Mbps upstream. Actual speeds may vary, depending on factors such as CPE and wiring, the presence of a VDSL2 compatible splitter, Service Provider environment, volume of traffic, End User location and network congestion.

2. Customers should use a centralised VDSL2 compatible splitter and using a splitter with the VDSL connection is highly recommended, as it provides improved performance and line stability. Any other splitters will drop speed.

3. Your initial invoice for any new services will cover a 2 month period.

4. If you dial 059 (or 0161) before a toll call number from your WorldNet Landline, there will be an additional 5.11¢ charge/minute on top of the normal Telecom retail rates on your WorldNet Landline bill.

5. All prices apply to WorldNet Direct Dial Toll Call service customer. $10 extra monthly fee apply without WorldNet Direct Dial Toll Call service.
