Q. Can I change plan during my contract term, e.g. 12 or 18 months?

A. If you've signed up for Landline + Broadband + Direct Dial bundled packs, you can only switch between the bundled packs. If you've signed up for Broadband service, you can only switch between Broadband plans. If you've signed up the double usage plan, you can only upgrade your plan. Any changes to your plan will take effect on the next billing start date.

Q. What happens if I cancel any one service in the bundled packs within the contract period, e.g. 12 or 18 months?

A. If one of the Services is cancelled, you will automatically be removed from the Landline + Broadband bundled packs and

  • an early disconnection fee of your current promotion offer will apply, and
  • any remaining services of the bundled pack will be charged according to the pricing of the corresponding standalone plan or most equivalent plan
Example 1,
If you are on Promotion MPP025 and you cancel the Direct Dial service, WorldNet will
  • Charge you $149 early disconnection of Promotion MPP025, and
  • Put your remaining Landline services to standalone Landline plan ($47/month) and Broadband to Full Speed/Full Speed 1G without Direct Dial plan ($44.9/month).
Example 2,
If you are on Promotion MPP026 and you cancel the Direct Dial and Boradband services, WorldNet will
  • Charge you $199 early disconnection of Promotion MPP026, and
  • Put your remaining Landline services to standalone Landline without Direct Dial plan ($47/month)

Q. Can I rejoin the Services in order to continue with my contract term?

A. Yes you can if you rejoin us within one week from cancellation date. Once the services are successfully provisioned, we will waive the early disconnection fee and put your services back to the plan you were on. However, you will have to pay

  • $20 reconnection fee for Direct Dial Service, and/or
  • $99 reconnection fee for Broadband, and/or
  • $49.95 reconnection fee for Landline

Q. Can I relocate my Services within the contracted period?

A. Yes. WorldNet will keep you on the existing contract term (means no early termination fee). However, you will be required to pay

  • Standard $99 connection fee ($248 if request connection and wiring) for Broadband, or
  • Standard $149 connection fee for Landline + Broadband, this excludes any wiring charges that may apply. If a new Landline needs to be connected at a location where a phone line has not previously been active, the installation and wiring charge is P.O.A depending on the location and work required.

Q. Can I get other products like Smart Phone Services with a bundled packs?

A. Yes, you can also have add-on features such as Call Waiting, Call Minder, though these will be charged in addition to the monthly fee for bundled packs.

Q. Can I get one of the WorldNet Landline + Broadband + Direct Dial bundled packs if I have a business line?

A. We have the business Landline and Broadband plans for Business Customers. However you are not eligible to get a promotion.

Q. When will I have the router or hardware(s)?

A. If you chose to pick up the hardware(s) please give us a call prior to your visit so we can prepare your hardware. You can pay it in our office when you pick up the hardware(s). If you chose to receive it by courier we can send it upon receiving the payment in full. Delivery and packing charge applies. Please also check whether you need filters (required for phones/fax/Sky where there has been connection-only without wiring) so we can send with the modem.

Q. What do you mean by RTB warranty?

A. RTB means "return to base" at customers expense and risk, so please avoid posting it. If you send by courier, remember to keep the courier's tracking number.

Q. Where can I get more information about these routers?

Q. What is WorldNet Landline + Broadband + Direct Dial bundled pack?

A. Simply you will get one bill for all your home phone, calling and internet with cheaper rate. Also, you can get all features of each standalone plans. In addition you can also keep the same phone number when you transfer to WorldNet.

Q. How long does it take to get WorldNet Landline and Broadband connected?

A. Normally, you'll be switched over to WorldNet Landline within five working days of contacting us. Landline installs happen Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

If a visit is required a technician will contact you to discuss what needs to be done to provide you with a live line, how long that is likely to take and what charges are involved.

Q. How can I apply for "$10 credit for both of You and Your Friend"?

A. To get this offer, simply write down the WorldNet customer ID of your friend who introduced WorldNet to you when you sign up online.

Q. When can I receive the "$10 credit for both of You and Your Friend"?

A. We will issue $10 credit for both of you and your friend after your service is successfully provisioned.

Q. What do you mean by downgrade?

A. It means changing to a less expensive plan.
