    WorldNet Data Centre is considered a Tier-1 facility in terms of network connectivity and infrastructure design.

    Our 220 square metre Data Centre (expandable up to 450 square metre) located in central Auckland can accommodate large server farms, cages, and even private suites. We maintain direct Multi-Gigabit bandwidth connections to major Internet backbone carriers in New Zealand, including AsiaNetCom, Reach and Global Gateway. Our scalable Multi-Gigabit Internet network currently serves from small businesses to large Internet Service Providers. We currently host hundreds of Internet websites, mail and application servers, network routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.

    The WorldNet Data Centre maintains level current and has a short term power backup with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), and is protected against possible long-term power failures with a 160 kilowatt diesel generator providing automatic failover capabilities. Ideal temperature and humidity are accurately maintained with redundant cooling systems.

    A high level of security is maintained with physical access control and video camera surveillance.

Equipment

Power

The WorldNet Data Centre is currently backed up and protected by facility-wide UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems. In a very rare case of utility outage, our Cummins® 160KW diesel generator starts automatically supplying all necessary power for the facility. The generator runs for a minimum of 18 hours at maximum load without refuelling.

Cooling

WorldNet Data Centre is protected by redundant indoor cooling systems and is maintained at an optimal temperature. The cooling systems provide precise, reliable control of the Data Centre temperature, humidity, and airflow that improves operating conditions for sensitive electronic equipment.
