To get the best performance from Hyperfibre, your router and connected devices should support the speed of your plan.
For a 2 Gbps plan, we recommend a router with at least two 2.5GbE ports, including a 2.5GbE WAN port. For 4 Gbps and 8 Gbps plans, a router with 10GbE ports is recommended if you want to achieve speeds above 2.5 Gbps on a wired connection.
We recommend using Cat6 or higher Ethernet cables. Your device and Wi-Fi connection can also affect the speed you experience. A device or port limited to 1 Gbps will not be able to use the full speed of a Hyperfibre connection.
