Price Update Notice

WorldNet Announces Price Update Effective 1st March 2025

Broadband Price Update from WorldNet confirms new fibre and Hyperfibre pricing effective from 1st March 2025.

WorldNet has confirmed that broadband plan prices will be adjusted in response to increased wholesale costs from Local Fibre Companies across New Zealand.

Since January 2025, LFCs have increased wholesale broadband charges by between 5% and 8.6%. To maintain service quality and network sustainability, WorldNet will pass on part of these costs through updated retail pricing.

These changes affect selected fibre and Hyperfibre services nationwide. WorldNet will continue to focus on delivering reliable broadband performance, improved fibre speeds, and quality customer support.

Customers will continue to benefit from high-speed broadband services, including Fibre 300, Fibre MAX, and Hyperfibre plans across New Zealand.

The new pricing will apply as follows:

WorldNet acknowledged that price adjustments are never ideal but emphasised that they are necessary to maintain the high-quality broadband services customers expect.

To thank customers for their continued support, WorldNet is offering the Hyperfibre2 router at a special discounted price of $150 (normally $250). This offer is available until the end of March 2025, or while stocks last.
