Before you start

A suitable router

Look for a WAN / Internet Ethernet port and support for Dynamic IP / DHCP.

An active Fibre service

Use the ONT port assigned to your WorldNet connection.

Your router login

Have your router’s admin login ready. This is different from your eBill login.

Connect & configure

1. Connect to the ONT

Connect the assigned ONT port to your router’s WAN / Internet port using an Ethernet cable.

2. Power on

Make sure the ONT and router are switched on. Allow the router to start up.

3. Apply the Fibre settings

Open your router’s setup page or app. Choose Dynamic IP / DHCP and turn VLAN tagging off, then save.

4. Connect and test

Join the router’s Wi-Fi or connect by Ethernet, then open a website to check you are online.

WorldNet Fibre settings

The essentials for a standard DHCP connection.

Internet / WAN typeDynamic IP / DHCP / IPoE
VLAN taggingDisabled / OFF / Unticked
Broadband username / passwordNot required for DHCP

These are WAN / Internet settings, not the router’s LAN DHCP server settings.
